Cookie policy
Version of 09.10.2026. Applies to the Hroomy website and app (hroomy.com).
In short. We use only what the service cannot work without: a session cookie for signing in and a language cookie. No advertising or cross-site tracking; our own visit statistics work without cookies.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. A similar technology is the browser’s local storage (localStorage). Below, “cookies” means both.
2. What we use
| Name | Purpose | Lifetime | Type |
hroomy_session | keeps you signed in after login; HttpOnly, not accessible to scripts | up to 30 days or until you log out | strictly necessary |
zl | remembers the language of the pages you chose | 1 year | functional |
hroomy_lang (localStorage) | remembers the app interface language you chose | until the browser is cleared | functional |
Strictly necessary cookies are required for the service to work, so they need no separate consent. Functional ones remember only your language choice.
3. What we do NOT do
- we do not use advertising cookies and do not show ads;
- we do not use third-party analytics (Google Analytics etc.) or tracking pixels;
- our own statistics set no cookies and do not store your IP address: unique visitors are counted with a daily anonymised hash that cannot be matched across days; it is switched off when Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control is on;
- we do not pass data about your behavior to ad networks.
4. Third-party services
- Google Fonts. Pages load fonts from Google servers, so Google receives your IP address and browser details, as when loading any resource.
- Stripe. During payment you are taken to a Stripe page that has its own cookies (fraud prevention, payment). They are described in Stripe’s policy.
- Telegram. If you use the bot, Telegram’s rules apply.
5. How to manage cookies
You can delete cookies or block them in your browser settings. Without the session cookie you cannot sign in; after the language cookie is deleted, pages open in the default language.
6. Changes
If we add other cookies, we will update this page and, where required, ask for consent. Questions: [email protected].
